DD still enjoys a good feed on top of her normal food, during the week it's normally just in the evening (twice, once as soon as I walk through the door, once at bedtime), and early in the morning, as I work full time, and about two more feeds at the week end. Is it normal that my periods are not back yet?every month I get twinges, moody and I think this is it, then nothing happens. I've been on the coil since she was three months old. Thinking of going back to doctors but don't know if I'm being silly....

I had no periods for the entire time I was feeding DD1 (22 mths) and now have the Merina & have had no periods at all with it, even after giving up BF. No twinges either. If you can still feel your 'strings' from your coil (if it's that type) then I'm sure everything fine. Just enjoy the lack of hassle - unless of course you're hoping to get pregnant - in which case you may need to give up BF to become fertile again.

Sounds normal from the bf point of view Smile, no idea about the coil. Mine came back at 1 year, 16 months and just before 2 years. The twinges and moodiness are normal signs that fertility is increasing and often happen in the months leading up to periods returning.

9/10 months both times Angry! Despite dd1 feeding through the night for about 2 yrs!! There is good info on kellymom re the bf aspect of it, not sure re the coil tho.

19 months here, DD feeds 3-7 times in 24 hours, no periods but twinges and other symptoms for a while now. I'd quite like them back soon....
