What age does self weaning happen?

Planning natural term bf and just wondering when self weaning is likely to happen. What age did your children self wean?

DD1 was 3.6y and DD2 has just finished nursing at 4.4y (though that may change as she hasn't nursed in 2w but I wouldn't refuse her if she decided she needed to nurse again).
