pumping question

I am planning to go to a birthday party son Saturday and want to pump a bit of milk as I will be away for about 7 hours.

Can I start pumping tomorrow and put it in the fridge and keep adding to it to have enough? I don't think I will have enough in one session as he only uses one breast! baby is 5 months old.

Thanks

Don't forget to bring your pump - 7 hours without a feed will hurt!

Yes you can add to it, that's fine. As said though you might start to get a bit uncomfortable yourself so be prepared and take some spare breast pads out with you and you might need to express a bit for comfort too.

I was told you can keep adding to the bit in the fridge for a 24 period but dont add warm milk to cold. Cool in fridge separately then add.
