How long does your 6month old feed for before bed?

My DS breast feeds before bed everynight, won't take the bottle and only sips the cup so far. In the day feedlast about 10mins and he never feeds to sleep. The feed before bed though is always over an hour - most of the time he falls asleep on me. For the last few weeks I have started taking him off the breast at an hr (occassionally he'll cry so I put him on the other one). Is this normal, how long does your 6month feed for? How can I tell if he is just comfort sucking? Any ideas how to get him to stop? Ps he usually sleeps til 4-5am.

I'd take an hour-long bedtime feed for sleeping through til 4-5am any day!! DS is 28 weeks and feeds to sleep for about 10 mins. Wakes up 3 hours later; then 3 hours after that and so on (on a 'good' night).

Have you started weaning? Once he's had some solids in the evening, you can be a bit more confident that he's not needing an hour long feed. Is he swallowing (ie actually drinking) or just sucking?
