My DD is 10m, was EBF to 6m, then blw. She eats well but has always refused a bottle and is still not keen on drinking from a cup. I've tried all sorts, with and without lids. I'm really hoping to be able to stop bf when she's 12m but I can't until she'll drink from something other than a boob!

Any ideas?

Am watching with interest as DS exactly the same. He used to take the odd bottle of expressed milk but I rarely needed to & it seemed such a faff so we got lazy... He'll drink water from a cup but that's it!

Oops! On my phone so posted too soon. Was going to add that he will take the odd gulp from a spouted cup if we leave it out while he's playing but there's no way he'll sit and actually just drink a quantity of milk in the same way he would at a feed.

Think I've tried all temperature variations but results just seem to depend on his mood. Seems most likely to drink it if I leave him to it. Though my carpet bears the scars...

Have you tried giving her a straw? My son was ebf, didn't want or know how to drink from a beaker until about 9-10 months old but absolutely loved drinking with a straw! Just bought him a tommee tippee tumbler with a straw :-)

Seconed the straw idea both of mine didn't take a bottle but around that age could take quit a bit from a straw cup.

Plus no point introducing bottle's as they aren't supposed to have them after 12months anyway due to problems they can cause with teeth.
