Sippy-cup at bedtime

Do any of you use a sippy-cup for your baby's bedtime feed? I'm planning to stop breastfeeding next month, my DD will be 8 months old, and was thinking of missing out bottles & going straight to a sippy-cup for all feeds. She uses one now for water at mealtimes & is pretty good with it, just needs help holding it. But I was wondering if the lack of sucking won't make her sleepy like a bottle or breastfeed would?

As far as I'm aware it's what's in the cup and your lo's bedtime (and daytime) routine that will help her sleep, not what kind of cup you use.

I should think that will be fine. We used a bottle with a juice spout instead of a teat which worked although the DC were older.
