Breastfeeding vest recommendations please.

DC2 is due in 2 weeks and I'm hoping breastfeeding goes as successfully as it did last time round.

I was given 2 lovely breastfeeding vests (one black and one white) as a present last time and I wore them to death either on their own or under normal tops. I'm looking to get something similar this time but need recommendations please.

Ideally I want them to be '2 layers' ie you unclip the front and then there is a small hole or slit for boob underneath. I don't want them to be too long and ideally thick enough that they can be worn on their own as a vest top.

I used to still wear a nursing bra under my old ones as I preferred the shape better I just wish I could remember the name on the label!!!

New look. Thin stretchy and cheep!

These are great as the straps are elastic so you can pull the vest down under the boob and your top up iykwim. They wash well and are really comfy too.

These are also good but a bit expensive for what they are really!

Sorry. Cheap not cheep. All this 'cows in the field go moo' I'm losing the ability to spell.

M&S often do vest in different colours so you can colour co-ordinate with your tops. You just need a size bigger then normal so you can easily pull down no need for special nursing ones.

I got a great one from Seraphine online. I've worn it a lot!!!

I've got some Emma Jane vests (you can get them on Amazon) and wear them day and night. Far prefer wearing a vest rather than a bra as it avoids tummy flashing!

Thanks bakingbunty you've reminded me it was Emma Jane ones I had! However they are expensive so may explore some of the non nursing vest suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Wow bought a few of those tops from h&m today, £3.99! Bargain! I can totally see how they do the job perfectly and I've got them in lots of colours.

Thanks startthefansplease !

Just picked up a couple of stretchy vests from primark today, £2.50 a pop. They're a decent length and the straps are wide enough to cover mondo-bra straps but not too chunksome. Also live in H&M vests, got the primark ones to try and change up my wardrobe a bit (cooooo I walk on the wild side, me)...
