Made it to 6 months (woo woo, does a little dance) and can't imagine giving up any time soon. Entering a kind of limbo where I'm by no means an 'extended' BF-er but all my NCT and baby group friends have made a move to FF and I'm a lone EBF-er. Couple of minor issues:
Let down has slowed dramatically in recent weeks. Do I recall reading this is normal? It can take over a minute or two, which is interminable while DS claws at my face & neck with his razor sharp talons. It means instead of barely-awake snoozy night feeds, we both end up wide awake and pissy with each other!
Despite the above, one boob springs a geyser-like leak every time I feed from the other side, and sometimes for no particular reason (and always when I'm wearing a light coloured top, obviously). It's also still regularly, occasionally painfully, engorged. Is that sort of boob behaviour supposed to have settled down by now?
Is there anything else while I'm here....? Errrmmm, nope, except to say thanks to everyone on this forum - you've given me more support & knowledge than any HCP I've encountered!
