I apologise for what is now my third thread on this subject but I need yet more advice!

So DS (21 weeks) now seems to be a bit happier to accept ebm from a NUK bottle, yay! So far, following advice on here, DH has been giving it during the day at a time when he's not too hungry, although today he was rather hungry and wolfed down 100ml.

There hasn't been any set routine as to when he has the bottle though I'd like to start this soon. He still hasn't got a set bedtime (work in progress!).

Last week I bf him to sleep, then when he woke up MIL tried to give him a bottle and he went balisitic. I don;t think he was hungry as he was fine once she got him up till I came home (I was v close, it was a "trial run" of babysitting!)

So my new questions are;

1/ He is still bf to sleep, he can self-settle in the middle of the night (at times) but has not yet fallen asleep after a bottle. So, how can I get him to do this when he is baby-sat properly (i.e I'll be an hour away) next week for the first time?

2/ This may seem silly but I don;t know how much to give him! Today he wolfed down all I'd expressed (110ml) then had a top-up bf. How much is "normal" for a 5mo in each bottle feed?

I hope these questions make sense! I think I'm going to bed now so I may not be able to clarify anything until tomorrow morning Smile
