4wk old Not sucking at 1 breast but actively at the other

My 4wk old is guzzling my right breast but passive with my left. I am recovering from a shitty dose of mastitis in the left so I know she's not emptying it. I know the latch isn't perfect but I'm persevering (small crack in nipple). How can I get her going again on the left? (I'm expressing after feeds to empty my poor boob! )

Saw your post on my thread. Miserable, isn't it. I hope someone comes by with some advice for us.

Hi. I'm no expert but when DS2 had this I fed him turned around so he approached my left breast from the same angle as my right IYSWIM ie with his legs still pointing left and his body more under my left arm. It either fooled him as to which breast he was on or that was his preferred way up. Either way, it worked. Good luck.
