help please! I'm taking dd2 to the doctor at 2pm as she seems to have a cold. Dd1 has just had a horrible virus and I just had a nasty cold. D and and d2 is quite sleepy and dropping off quickly when feeding, after 5 mins. She has had three wet nappies so far today and one dirty. Any tips please? Will also see what doctor says but concerned about keeping her full of milk and not losing supply.
Many thanks

Only just seen your post so you will probably be at the GP now. Let us know what he/she says Smile.

Thanks JJJ. She has a temp and we have been prescribed paracetamol supp but the chemist cannot get them. I need to call dr back to check I cam give normal calpol, half a syringe, instead. Also been given dsktarin in case she has thrush and it is bothering her, as her Tongue is White.

Boots sell an oil called baby nose clear and can be used from birth. You can put on a damp towel on radiator. In a bowl of hot water or into a paediatric humidifier. Also put a few drops on sheet somewhere where baby won't touch. Also can tip the cot with books, they sell blocks but it's really just a way for you to spend more IMO. Nasal aspirate before a feed if you can. You could also sit in bathroom with shower running for steam. LO had a terrible cold at 6 weeks even got a nosebleed from it but these things really helped. Hope i haven't put too much xx
