Ive just started introducing the bottle to my son and hes taken to it well, last night 11:30 i expresed 2 bottles of 50ml each, this mornings test was to see if he would take them cold from the fridge or if he needed them warming ( he wanted warm!) anyway turns out 50ml wasnt enough, i hand expressed about 40ml into the bottle when he emptied it and then when he had all that he had a little top up from my breast!

Now my question is i still have 50ml in the fridge from yesterday evening, is it safe for me to express more today and add to that bottle to make up a bigger feed?

Yes, but you can only keep it in the fridge (at the back!) for 4 days so I count the 4 days from the oldest bit of milk iyswim

Just shake thiroughly before you give it to him.
