ladies. Ive been breastfeeding for 6 months now and im coming to a stop. Would my breasts go back as firm and perky as they used to be?. I feel empty and saggy and im only 18. I dont feel as attractive to my boyfriend anymore or sexy. I cover myself at all times and is worried that he wont like me anymore if i show that my bodys changed. Plus i dont really have much confidence in myself anymore.

You know, by bf your baby for so long you have given a piece of yourself to your baby and given them the best start you can. No one else could have done that but you. Feel confident and proud about that fact. I'm a bit older than you but at the latter stages of bf my daughter at the moment too, and I don't know how different my body will end up, but it won't be too drastic as it's not for most people...anyway, that's what decent bras are for!

As for your boyfriend, what does he say? Confidence is sexy, not the perkiest of perky boobs, so just relax and be proud of your body. Is it your body which has made you lose confidence, or something else?

Your breasts will return to their previous size and shape, JazleEd, but it may take a few months.

Mine are fine and I am a bit older than 18 :)

As the weeks of not bf go on, the fat that used to be in your breasts before pregnancy and breastfeeding (which was replaced in pg and bf with milk-making and storing tissue) returns and wowser! - perky, firm lovelies once more :)

Thankyou. I havent asked my boyfriend yet as im not happy with it myself. My body has gone back to its normal size, but just not my breasts, that happily balanced it out, which is natural i know. i dont know what it is that lost my confidence . I guess it just my body im not happy with. I wanna be confident again, ive got nothing to loose.

If you're back to your normal size already I bet there are people very jealous of you. My daughter is 9months, and I'm only just back to normal(ish). To be honest, I'm naturally very slim but liked being a bit 'softer' round the edges, it's a bit of a shame to lose that. That said, my boobs were fairly non-existant before pregnancy, are fairly non existant now, and am sure they will be fairly non-existant when I've done bf .

If you told your boyfriend how you feel, what do you think he would say? MAybe he would give your confidence a boost? Maybe just admitting your insecurities to him would make you feel better? Good luck.
