DD has always been bf and has always been a boob monster but recently I can't put her down during the day. She eats solids some days, other days no interest at all. I really want to cut down as she is asking for bf literally 20 times per day, sometimes just feeding for a few mins, other times just to stretch my nipples as far as they will go. I've tried refusing her and distracting her but she goes loopy. I'm finding her really hard work abd was hoping for some words of wisdom

doblet haven't really got much advice although I do know that once they reach one you can offer the bm after the solids. Know she isn't easy to distract but could you try getting her to eat and drink something and then have the bm after? Do you have, and offer her, food and drink at regular times?

It sounds like it could be separation anxiety, it is very hard work but it will pass! Here are some ideas you could try to see if it improves things. Sometimes there are no magic answers but there will always be other mothers that have been through the same thing so can sympathise :)
