Not sure whether to post here or in weaning. Dd is 5 mths on wed and not yet weaned. Will start baby led weaning at start of April. I want to give up breastfeeding by July when I go back to work butI want to feed as close to that date as possible as a little sad about stopping as last baby (probably) - she feeds every 2.5 (common)-3.5(rare) hrs and so when I start weaning i will introduce Formula feeds but with her feeding so frequently how will I know how to start with the formula feeds as hopefully she won't need 7 bottles a day? Will it becoming clearer as she weans?

Yes it will! My dd is 7mo and im currently weaning from boob feeds. I started giving dd a bottle before bed when she was around 5 months and 2 days ago I started giving her a bottle for her mid afternoon feed cos by the time I go back to work she should have dropped the mid morning feed. I've liked doing it this way as its been nice and slow and not at all stressful.

This is what our day looks like

7am milk
8am breakfast
11/11.30 milk
12pm lunch
2.30milk
5pm dinner
7pm milk
