DD is 23 months, so was only feeding a few times a day. She had her last feed at about 5pm yesterday and I am now in agony Sad

Can anyone tell me this will stop soon? Or what I can do to make it feel better?

Hot shower and express a little? Or a savoy cabbage leaf in your bra? Or tbh, I'd feed till I was down to one a day- then stopping should be painless, but obv you have fed for ages and prob have good reason to stop! The cabbage really works.

Try some arnica tablets, it made a huge difference when I stopped bfing. The cabbage thing works as well but don't know why..

Yikes, isn't going from a few feeds a day to none actually stopping quite quickly for you? Could you drop one feed at a time instead?

I'm thinking about dropping the nighttime feed (DS is 18 months, and only has 2x feeds/day) at the moment, so we replaced it with cow's milk tonight as a trial. I'd probably keep going a bit longer, but it's all a bit extreme BFing, rather than a lovely lie down and BF together Sad.

I was in pain for 12 hours, absolute agony crying all night. Take some pain killers and get some cabbage leaves. I hope it doesn't last too long for you
