Winding?

My ds is 7mo and loves his food. He is on 4 bottles a day still (7am, breakfast at 8, 11am, lunch at 12, 2/3pm, dinner at 5.30 then 7pm milk). My question is do I still need to wind after every feed?! Because I seem to be omitting it from our routine....I kind of forgot about it. He still wakes at night....not hungry, but a bit cranky. Thought it was/is teething? But could it be wind instead? TIA.

I tend to still wind before putting down to bed, otherwise its a cursory sit still and pat for a moment, but then she will sit on the floor and burp.

DS used to get wind at that age so yes I did. However he also got bum wind too - had to give a teaspoon of peppermint tea after tea to help.

But don't rule out teething!

Tried winding him last night....and it wasn't a success. he got really cross and started kicking off!!! He wanted to lay back down/go to sleep. Mmmmmm. Does this mean he hasn't got wind...or that he doesn't know the difference and may suffer later?

It could be teeth. Have you tried bonjela?

Yes....and teething powder. He screams when he wakes sometimes....not cries. Sad I'm running out of ideas?

Perhaps try experimenting with the winding thing, make sure he is really well winded with maybe some gripe water or something and see if he still wakes.

Could be some sort of night terrors? is he awake when he is screaming?

or you could try a dose of ibuprofen before bed if it is teething.
