Is bfing good for teething pain?

DD2, who is 8 months, seems to be feeding constantly at the moment. I've barely left the sofa all afternoon, and feel like I have a newborn again. I think her first two teeth are coming through- could this be the reason? Or any other thoughts? She's not eating much solid food but otherwise seems ok.

Bfing releases endorphins (nature's painkillers), oxytocin (the love hormone that relaxes us) and a hormone called CCK which induces sleep. All of those would help her if she is in pain from teething.

You can also try teething gels or teething powders to see if they help. Lots in the shops so take your pick!

Ok, thanks. I have been using dentinox as well, but it seems that all she wants to do is feed or fall asleep on me. At least I am getting out of the housework!
