If I want to express for my one year old, do I need to sterilise everything?
Collection bottle / pump? Storage bottle? Cup she's drinking from?
Seems odd if she's going around putting every filthy object she can find into her mouth, but I know the bugs love to live in milk. I have no idea what actually needs to be sterile.

Thanks.

no need to sterilise for a 1 year old. Wash in hot soapy water and rinse well.

Yep no need to sterilise.

Excellent. Much less hassle.
Thank you.

Sterilisation doesn't clean the milk off though as you have to fully wash anything before sterilising.

I'd just go with a good wash in very hot soapy water, rinse off with hot clean water and air dry on a clean drainer.

However, if your DD has any health issues or a weakened immune system I would check with her Dr just in case they would prefer sterilising.
