Sorry, somehow the wording of the petition feels patronising.

Gosh you must feel vulnerable BF in public, here let the nanny state hold your hand.

I've done lots of BF in public and not once has anyone so much as raised an eyebrow. Had they done so I'm entirely capable of telling them to fuck off all by myself.

As for TV presenters etc. it's just a cheap publicity stunt and best ignored.

Yes I'd agree with regards to telling them to do one but there are people who are a little more timid/shy/young/embarrassed! plus it's the fact that there is not as much support as there needs to be and it's not exactly common unlike bottle feeding who no one raises an eye at, plus the ignorance of today's people and general attitudes why not have support from local business ie stickers up saying we welcome breast feeding mums? make them aware that they can sit in a cafe rather then a toilet or be ushered into a corner! Nanny state I agree with on lots of issues but not this sorry!

Ps I asked a local mp to support our breast feeding cafe by being at the unavailing and he laughed and said are you serious breast feeding? Snigger snigger, !!!! So that's the mentality were up against
