Hi,

We have been trying to introduce a bottle to our 4 mo DD, with no success. As I will be going back to work soon, we need to find a solution to this problem. Is 4 months old too young to try the cold turkey route to a bottle? Can anyone help re cup feeding, especially what sort of cup to use?

Thanks

I can't offer advice as such but there are some videos on youtube showing how you cup feed expressed milk to a baby. Might be worth you having a look. I haven't started expressing yet but keep thinking I really should.

How long is it untill you start back at work?

How long will you be away and how many days?

Have you considered introducing a cup instead of a bottle?

Going cold turky is a bit of a mean way to do it to be honist, not great for baby and not great for you either. You should really drop one feed at a time giving at lest 2-3days inbetween or you need to express so you don't end up with mastatiss.
