Loose Women

Did anyone just watch Loose Women? They were discussing the posting breastfeeding photos on facebook row. One of the presenters said she didn't understand why people would want to post these pictures online and that though she breastfed her kids, she was discreet and breastfed them on the loo or in the car and didn't understand why others weren't so discreet.

Now each to their own as to what photos you want to post up but I have never and will never breastfeed my baby on the loo!

Some people think showing your hair isn't very discreet. Others think sex outside of marriage is wrong. She should just stop judging people with her own moral standards.

Lots of people post pictures of themselves half falling out of dresses, or with 'provocative' poses. Does anyone say anything about this being morally corrupt? Agree with you that it's a personal thing what you post up. I would never bf my baby in the loo either.

Idiots. 99% of the time you can't tell if the baby is feeding or just having a cuddle.

I have bf on the loo though. When desperate for a wee and had a baby already dangling off my nipple. No point making him scream .

Indith fair dos. :) But they were basically saying that BF should not be seen in public.

They also said that you shouldn't flash your boobs in public as your husband wouldn't like it!

I've never heard so much bollocks. Sherrie Hewson kept waving her arms about and said she's 'worried' about this sort of thing.
However, I guess it's my own fault for watching something that allows Sherrie Hewson to air her opinions.
I like Janet Street-Porter though.

It's sad to see a society accepting very provocative half naked pictures of women in media, and not being able to accept images of a nursing mother, isn't it?

Oh I know, I am calling them idiots for thinking it needs to be hidden away because bf in public happens all the time and mostly you never even notice, it just looks like a baby being snuggled. Ditto pictures on FB, you can easily scroll through new baby photos several times before you even realise the baby is feeding in some of them!

I bf all over the place, never had a single negative comment. Thankfully it is just the occasional moron who believes in hiding it. It is just a shame that some of those morons appear on TV .

And don't get me started why all the role playing babies have a bottle. Same as the little book I read to my 10mo. The baby in it has a bottle too.
