Underwired nursing bra for very large breasts

Hi ladies, I was a 34H before getting pregnant, i am now a 36I (was measured at rigby and peller 3 weeks ago) and expect after giving birth and milk comes in i will be 36 J/K. I fed my son for 10 months and hope to do the same this time, or maybe for even longer, so really need to get the whole bra thing sorted as I HATED non underwired bras last time and the way they make my rather ample bosom look, but 4 years ago when I was buying bras ahead if my son's birth you simply couldn't buy underwired nursing bras, and although I've found them this time round I have spent hours trawling the Internet to try and find some in my size.

I ordered the Anita underwired nursing bra in the largest size I could which was a 36J and although it fits perfectly now, I know once my milk comes in and I start feeding it just won't be big enough. Just wondered if anyone had found a more generously sized underwired bra in this size, or the other thing i was thinking is about getting some of these conversion kits and just converting some non nursing underwired bras, does anyone know the best place to buy these kits?

Thanks for any help or advise you can give me

I went up to a j cup while BFing.

I always buy Triumph Doreen bras non wired ( i hate wire!)
I didn't like that most nursing bras were flimsy with thin straps/wire. Not good if you have large boobs.

As i was large, i found it just as easy to whip my boob out without buying specialised nursing ones. If at home i took my arm out of the strap on the side i was feeding.

I don't know if that would work for you. I have gone down to G now. Grin

Hi. I've found these to be a very generous fit in the cup so definitely worth a shot. The clips are a bit stiff to start with but they soon loosen up.

I'm not sure what your R&P size equates to; I is not a UK cup size and the converters I've used make it a GG/H.

The theory is good about the conversion kits but in reality, the findings are not wide enough for the type of straps you find in G+ bras.

If you find something better please let me know, I'm always being asked!
I agree that the only bras in a true J/K (Royce) are a bloody ugly shape although they are comfy.

I second the Elomi bra. I have two and the annoying clips are worth suffering just to have an underwired bra that fits. You can normally get them from Figleaves with a discount code.

My mum converted my bras for me as there were no nursing bras in my size at all (48k). However the only place in the UK i could find that sold conversion kits had closed for the owner's maternity leave and i couldn't risk waiting weeks for shipping from the states. I ended up buying hook and eyes bra fasteners off ebay and my mum converted my existing bras using them instead of normal nursing bra clasps and instructions i found online. They're functional but not pretty.
