DS is BF on demand when i am with him 4 days per week, cow's milk by bottle or cup when with DH when i am at work the other 3 days. He's been clingy and waking more than the usual 2-3 times overnight lately which I put down to maybe 13 month leap and/or teething. BF to sleep for 2 naps plus at bedtime plus normally one teatime feed and overnight.

Recently when feeding he goes back and forth between breasts very frequently. Has my supply dipped and he's trying to build it up? Is he now just used to the faster flow from cup or bottle and can't be bothered to wait for another let down? Or something else?

Just wondering whether to take fenugreek again (needed it when still expressing at work) or whether that would make me very uncomfortable if I have a long day at work without feeding.

He's on the 95th centile btw, BLW 3 meals and snacks.

TIA

Not trained but think it could be either of those things. If you take the Fenugreek could you express at work for your own comfort?

If he is switch nursing to up your supply just let him, it will natrualy increase as he does this. I douted he develop a bottle preferance at this late age useally they like feeding from the breast at this age and the comfort it brings.

I just go with the flow and see how things go, your supply at this age is really well established and no where near as frigile as in early months.
