Has anyone used this for cracked, bleeding nipples? I am using lansiloh cream and remember reading about this a few years ago...am desperate to find some relief as am dreading each feed! DS had his TT snipped yesterday so am hoping to find a road to recovery...

If you have used it, was it any good? Also, can you leave it on or do I need to wipe it off before each feed?

Don't know anyone who has used it Chocolate. Do you think its worth ringing one of the helplines and asking a BFC? Try this number Smile.

If you search the archive on MN you might be able to find some threads on TT snipped too.

I haven't used paw paw for sore nipples but I imagine it would work a treat...like it does for just about everything else. My son is now 8 weeks andi have used it with success to heal up nappy rash, cradle cap, spots, dry skin and where he has scratched his face. I buy from a UK supplier, they might be able to answer your question about washing the ointment off before feeding? See here pawpawstore.co.uk/category1_1.htm.
