bottle on mumsnet logo

don't know if this has been discussed before but what do people think about the image of a mother with the bottle on the mumsnet logo? I think I heard that mumsnet decided not to let formula companies advertise on here , so is having the image of a bottle just as bad? I personally think t'd be great to see a an image of a mother using her breast as a weapon Hah! What do people think?

The majority of mothers do bottle feed though, don't they? It may not be optimal from a public health perspective, but from a coming-up with a logo that represents mothers/parents perspective, a bottle is more inclusive than a breast. And even more inclusive if it contains breastmilk. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

There could be formula, breast milk, water, coke, vodka, tea in that bottle.

Yup. Because whether people currently mostly breast feed or bottle feed, a baby's bottle is a traditional image. And doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

I couldn't care less. Works in the context of the Charlie's Angels pastiche. Would look really weird trying to get a breast into it - wonder if they did at the design stages at all. Bet it looked bonkers
