How do you do this? I already include milk in sauces, weetabix, cheese, yoghurt, but how to go about replace formula feeds with cow's milk? Gradually or can you just make the switch cold turkey?

Hiya. Noy sure if your supposed to but i did it gradually by mixing a little cows milk into the formula, then gradually upping the amount of cows to formula ratio until it was done. Ds never noticed!

I have switched cold turkey three times (last time very recently) with no bother at all.

I did it one feed at a time i.e. did morning feed as cows milk and bedtime feed as formula. After about a week (and when the formula ran out!) i switched the bedtime feed to cows milk too. Neither of mine seemed to notice the difference.

For the past week or so I've been having part formula and part cow's milk in each bottle until this Tuesday when the powder finally ran out. DD2 has been happily drinking neat cow's milk since. That's £8 a week saved.

Thanks for all the input, I think I'm gonna try the mixed forumla/milk thing...
