TCOB please do! Make sure to take photographs of each expression which crosses the questioner's face shifting from confusion to deep thought, through enlightenment and finally embarrassment that they had to think about it.

hazchemn, I just say 'DS breastfeeds' (we've gone past the WHO guidelines). I prefer that to say that I bf him, because it makes it clear that I do it for his benefit, not mine IYSWIM.

Fraktal · 17/02/2012 09:07

angel WHO recommends 'at least' 2 years implying their guidelines encourage BFing beyond, not up to, 2 years.

Great to see so many people happily bfing for so long. DD is only 9 months old and I am already getting fed up with the multiple comments from my family that I am spoiling her, creating a rod for my own back (GP also came up with this one), keeping her a baby and not allowing her to grow up! I can see us bfing in secret later on!

Thanks Fraktal and Angledog

Yes, you're right, Fraktal, and IIRC, the guidelines say something like 'and beyond if desired', so technically we are operating according to the guidelines. :)
