DD is nearly 3 months.
The last week has been horrible as she went on a nursing strike after a throat and ear infection had made it painful to feed.
Everyone kept saying - skin-to-skin etc, but she just screamed when we did that and wouldn't feed in any position.
She screamed for most of last week. The only way that I could get her to stop screaming was to dance next to the CD player, music blasting, with her in the sling.
I decided that, in order to get the skin-to-skin in, I'd do the above topless. To my surprise, DD eventually latched on and had a good feed.
Problem is, she'll now ONLY feed in this way. If I sit down or try any other position she screams so loudly. The more I try to encourage her the more she screams. If I have her in the sling she will only latch on with the music and dancing - not just with quiet!
On the plus side, I can now do the washing up whilst feeding her, but I used to look forward to sitting down for 20mins every 3 hours, now I have to dance with her. The bigger she gets the harder this will be.
How can I get her back to normal?
