What bottle for bf baby??

Ive got a lovely 7mo ds who has been ebf untill now, I would love to continue but unfortunately I have to back to work in just over a month. So I would like to get him drinking formula out of a bottle, we give him a cup of water at the moment and have tried to give him milk from that, and we have ended up with him refusing water...so the health visitor suggested a bottle. But I dont have a clue what type of bottles would work best, I don't want to spend a fortune so was just wondering what bottle worked for you?
Thanks

Sorry Away, have absolutely no idea as both of mine were committed bottle refusers. If you search the messages on MN though you should find plenty of threads on bottles and might find this helpful too.

hi,
I've found the mam anti-colic ones to be good. Try asda as I got mine for only £3.40 each there. Also you can sterilise them in the microwave 1 at a time which is useful when your only doing 1 feed a day. DD likes them and she was EBF till 8 1/2 months and now has 1 bottle a day and breastfeeds the rest of the time.

my EBF baby happily drinks from the tommee tippee closer to nature bottle

Thanks for the advice! Ordered some tommee tippee ones off eBay, fingers crossed he'll like them!

Tommee tippee here too. A friend of mine who has a baby a similat age to yours swears by the really cheap bottles from boots or local chemist because the teat is very rigid so they have to work hard.

if the TT don't work out, I found NUK good for my 7mo when he finally started entertaining the idea of a bottle.

OneLittleBabyGirl · 12/02/2012 08:55

Mine started taking the NUK at 7mo. But even with BLW she dropped her day time feeds to 20-30ml (2 bottles) at 8mo. And she has no milk during the day from 9mo

So I wont worry about it if it's just for work.

Mam Ultivent teat I good and works in most bottles (not TTc2n, Nuk)
