breastfeeding necklace

DD is 9 months and keeps scratching my face and pulling my hair when feeding. I think a necklace might help but I think all the actual bf necklaces are a bit horrible (lait d'amour, mama jewels bleurgh). Can I just wear a nice necklace or is she likely to pull it apart? Any other ideas for non horrible bf necklaces?

I got a trade bead necklace rather like this one but nowhere near as expensive from a lady who sells things from a women's cooperative in Uganda. It's lovely for the baby because it has a range of colours, materials, textures and shapes. Certainly stopped her twiddling my other nipple which I HATE.

I got a necklace from an Internet place called mama jewels.
I think it was strung so that there was a knot between every bead, so if DD broke it I wouldn't have beads all over the place. It was also supposed to be made of stuff (v technical here!) that wasn't toxic or nasty for DD if she chewed it. No idea whether necklaces tend to be made of toxic substances...

It was a nice necklace. From memory not that expensive. But I can't remember how much it was.

I got one from etsy, by mama monkey(?!?!) it's a bit more stylish than the usual offerings.
