I am a mother of a (recent) one year old and have been breastfeeding from day one, it was an uphill struggle for about 5 months and although the benefits are huge im ready to start puling back on them. Until now she has dropped the feeds herself but Im still on 4 a day and cant seem to get her to drop any more. Ive tried not giving her lunchtime one but i always end up going back to it because its the only thing that gets her to sleep.. something of which there isnt and hasnt ever been much! I feel so stuck and frustrated with it and dont know what to do... PLEASE can someone help!? :(

Have you read the No Cry Sleep Solution? It addresses this problem with some tips about how to wean them off feeding to sleep (google "Pantley Pull-off") and how to set up some different sleep associations.
