Fillings while bf

I think I may need a filling when I go to the dentist on Fri and Im sure I read something on here recently that you should have a white rather than a silver filling while bf. My DS is 15mo and I am still bf so want to know what I should ask for. I have an NHS dentist (lucky me I know), so not sure if I will be able to make this request, so need to know the risks if there are any.
Does anyone know?
