Weaning toddler from bottle

DD has always been a fantastic sleeper, sleeping 12 hours from 6 weeks old, almost without fail, she has never been fed overnight since then, she is 2 next week. She has always been bottle fed although I did express for 6 months then moved to formula and now cows milk.

For the last week we have replaced her bottle with a sippy cup of milk before bed and when she wakes. She doesn't complain or ask for her bottle but she will not drink any milk at all and as a result she is waking hungry through the night for the fist time ever.

Should I offer milk through the night? Or go back to a bottle? Is it really that bad for her still to have a bottle past 2?

my daughter is 22 months and still has a 7pm bottle of milk. She literally gags and makes herself vomit if I put milk in any type of cup!

So for now she still has the bottle. I don't really see the harm in it...but I am no expert.

Am sort of just hoping she gives it up at some point...there have already been a few nights she has gone without...
