i have beebread bf for nearly 12 wks now with 1 ff supplement a day. Problem is I am starting to feel really depleted.mi try to ea as best I can, but dp doesn't cook much so I end up making stuff when I get a chance. My teeth are starting to feel really sensitive despite sensitive and I just generally feel frail. I have ordered some vits, but what else can I do???? Help!!!!!

I think you are saying you are worried about not having as much milk?

And that it might be something to do with your diet?

Well.....it is normal for breasts to feel softer as breastfeeding becomes more established and not many bf mothers of babies aged 12 weeks have breasts that feel and look as they did in the first weeks.

Your diet has virtually zero effect on your milk supply - so unless you are literally starving (I do mean, dying....) then you won't make less milk because of that. YOu need to care for yourself and if you feel frail, then that's something to be concerned about but it will not have an effect on your bf.

If you think your baby needs more milk, then bf more often, using at least 2 breasts per feed, and drop or reduce the formula. Are you concerned about your baby's intake? Or is everything fine?
