Moving from BF to FF

DS is just over 5 months old, and I'd like for him to be able to take the occasional ff so I can get out without him.
We are also considering nursery for a few half days a week (I'm studying part time and it would give me some much needed peace) and I'm not very good at expressing.

He won't take a bottle and we are intending to wean him in a few weeks. Would it be wise just to move to a sippy cup of formula instead of bothering with a bottle?

It is always worth trying. My youngest never would take a bottle (expressed milk, formula or otherwise) but soon took it from a sippy cup.

I'll get some sippy cups and see how we go. Would it be too much to introduced food at the same time?
