Warming expressed breast milk

I'm pretty sure you can't do this but want to check anyway...

If I warm expressed milk, can I then store it in an insulated bottle carrier to keep it warm? I've got a feeling that this might harbour/encourage bacteria to breed but I want to check because it would be so convenient if I could!

not worth the risk
