Is this ok? my dd had dropped her feeds to morning 8ish and 4pm and 730 at about 7 months she started nursery at 8 months and is happily bf at 7 and 6ish and at bed time but doesn't take much at bed time rarely has a night feed is nearly 9 months now is she getting too little milk?

I think aslong as she is gaining weight, seems healthy etc. then it is ok to just go with what your little one wants and if this means you can carry on breast feeding whilst at nursery then all the better.

Has always planned on giving her at least one lot of formula at nursery but she doesn't seem to need it Confused

Do you mind me asking how you dropped to so few feeds? Weaning? DS will start nursery in 6 weeks but is currently ebf & refuses anything else. I'm terrified about what will happen when I have to go back to work.

Am so relieved to read this! DS is 8 months and currently BF on waking, at 11am, 4pm and bedtime but he's totally disinterested in the 11am feed. Been anxious about letting him drop it so great to hear someone else who is similar!

We started solids at 6 months BLW and she doesn't eat a huge amount I do give her yogurts at lunch at nursery which she scoffs but she bfs just the same at weekends and I don't always give her yogurts then. She just dropped the feeds her self, I suddenly realised over Xmas she'd dropped to waking and 4pm and now she's waking and 6pm and bed!!
