giving up the bottle

my son is 22 mts old and was very attached to his bottle,I have taken it away and replaced with a feeder cup but for the last 2 days since he refuses to drink anything at all from it!!
any tips for a painless transfer????

2 days is not long im afraid! give it a few more

does he know whats it in? is the cup see-through enough?

cold turkey is best imo

A little while ago, someone on here suggested letting them have the bottle, but replacing the teat with a slower-flowing one - so it takes ages to get the milk out and they choose the beaker.

YES!!!! cold turkey works,I got through the tantrums ,the crying and that ws just me !!!
We are now drinking happily from a cup and it only took us 4 days !!!!
