only 3 formula feeds at 9ms?

I have been introducing my breastfed 9 month old to formula to get her ready for when I go back to work in a few weeks and she goes to nursery/ family. On the packet it says that at her age she should only have 3 feeds a day. She usually has 5 breastfeeds and 1 formula feed a day at the moment (more breastfeeds if she wants to feed rather than sleep at night). How will she cope with the transition to only 3 feeds a day? I think the routine at nursery only allows for 2 or 3 milk times a day anyway. I would rather the answer is not that she will be awake breastfeeding all night, as sometimes I will have to sleep so I get up and work another 13hr shift and sometimes I will have to do nightshifts. Do formula fed 9 month olds really only have 3 feeds in a day? What kind of times do you give them? Breastfeeding and work might not work out in the long-term as I will be away from her for so long, so I neeed to learn about formula feeding in case we need to change totally.

My dd has been ff from about 4 wo. She's now 9mo and has 4 bottles in the day and one before I go to bed. She doesn't have the full bottle though, think she just likes snacking!

Oh and the nursery dd goes to will follow whatever routine you want, or in the case of dd keep trying her every now and then till she decides she's hungry!

My 9 month old has 3 bottle feeds a day, as well as solid food and she always has a beaker of water to drink too.
She has 7oz first thing in the morning before her breakfast, then a sleep and her lunch, then some more milk at about 3 and a little sleep. Her dinner is normally about 5.30-6 ish and I then bath her and get her ready for bed and she is then offered more milk at about 7 which most of the time she won't have, or will only have a couple of oz before she pushes it away.

Hope that explains it a bit better, I don't think my baby would have any more milk than she gets now, she seems to have dropped right off it since she is eating more solid food.
