Not feeling great, so am going to see the GP next week. I absolutely want to carry on breastfeeding, but also don't want to add something else to feel bad about into the mix.

So, can I take the pills and not do bubs any harm?

it depends on the medication you take. Your best bet is to speak to your GP/specialist/pharmacist/the manufacturwers of the drug -they should have an advice line/ the drug regulatory agency in your country, these deal with the side effects of medications and many have helplines.
Your GP should consult the BNF, or the SPC for the medication which will contain the most up to date information (the regulatory agency, and manufacturer will also have the most up to date information too).
