Should my baby have Vit D suppliments? I am really confused by new research

My dd is 11 weeks old who is BF. I didn't take any suppliments when pregnant except folic acid. We spend a lot of time indoors due to weather and the fact she has been so poorly. So should I be giving her a Vit D suppliment? Really worried now about her and my other two getting rickets

The advice it for mum to take a supplement if baby is under 6m and for baby to take it if over 6m (mum can carry on taking her supplement too as they are tablets and babies have drops or syrup).

vitamin d recommended for bf babies over 6 months and ff babies over 6 months taking less than 20oz of formula

Can I also ask you should I get a suppliment for my other dc's who are 2 and 4? The news has really worried me due to the fact there are bone disformaties in my family. My mum has club foot and my uncle a hunch back so I get worried when ever bones are mentioned Smile

it is recommended that children between 6 months and 5 years take vitamin supplements (esp vit d)
