Return of period and effect on bf?

I seem to have started a period, not heavy (yet)...my DS will be 11w on Sunday, and EBF. Wondering (worrying) whether this means my milk supply will be affected in any way???

It didn't have any effect on mine. Had my first period at 7 weeks.

When DS2 was 6 mo he was particularly unsettled when bf during the day and that evening when his older brother (3) had his bedtime bf he complained that the milk 'wasn't working".
Period started next day.
Can't remember exactly which hormones surge and when during the menstrual cycle, but for me it's the 24 hours running up to period (?? progesterone surge) starting that my supply drops. It seems to recover quickly and hasn't put either of them (now 3.7 and 14 mo) off bf.

I'm worried that it's come do early as I thought if be 'free' for much longer...have been reading that it could be triggered if baby is sleeping longer stretches - which DS has been doing for the last cpl of weeks. and this week he's been really difficult to settle to sleep...not sure how I'd tell if supply is affected but his nappy output doesn't seem affected
Have been feeling a bit all week but AF is not 'normal' as in there's not much of a flow (sorry tmi)...will they just start getting back to normal from now on?

Think I had a very light one, then a month off and then business resumed as normal.
