Infasoy - any thoughts? 7mo DS chesty/wheezy/coughing for months!

Does anyone have any experience w/ Infasoy? Been prescribed it for 7mo DS who has been chesty since he was about 3mo (BF for 8 weeks then Aptamil). Have tried various things - gaviscon for reflux, inhalers, cot raised etc. Now doc thinks maybe due to milk allergy/intolerance so trying Infasoy. Have heard a couple of others say their LOs got better on soya milk. Any advice welcome as have also heard it can be harmful.

I'm by no means an expert but have heard that babies with cows milk intolerance can also react to soya milk as the proteins are similar, so I'd just keep a close eye on him. My sister had soya formula 24yrs ago though and was fine, much better than when my mum was bfing her!

Thanks SP - I heard the same so have asked for a hypoallergenic one instead - Nutrimagem (or something!).... fingers crossed!
