Nipple like a used lipstick!

After I have nursed ds, my nipple looks like a used lipstick- diagonal on one side. Does this mean our latch is wrong?

That can be a sign of a latch that needs tweaking, lights, but I see your baby is 9 weeks now and is doing well, and you don't mention pain, so if there is not a problem, there's not a problem....if you get me.

I had this but it looked like new lipstick - sloped not rounded. Is that the same as you? No pain. Turned out DS had tongue tie. Can he stick his tongue all the way out?

Oops, yes, it's the new lipstick that has the flat side, not the used one!!

Either way - nipples that are flat on one side are as I said in my post.

Oh Yes I meant a new one.... Not worn lipstick in ages!
I think his latch could be better than it is. He is getting milk as I can hear him swallowing. There is pain just at the start. I don't think he is taking quite as much nipple and areola as he should. Will continue to practice!
