I have 5 children ranging from 13 down to 4 months. I have breastfed all the older ones until their first birthday, so am quite an experienced breastfeeder. Now feeding number 5 and he is 4 months. I have experienced most perils over the years, from being bitten to blocked ducts, telling the midwife where she can put her cabbage, to throwing the pump out the window when you've had enough of feeling like daisy the cow!! I can't remember this problem last time although it is a bit of a blur now but I always seem to have more milk on my right side. It doesn't look noticably bigger (i hope) but I have tried all the usual things to try and stimulate more milk the other side...putting him that side more often, massage etc, but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure it's actually a problem just wondered whether I was the only one??? Or have I just well and trully broken myself on number 5??? Any thoughts anyone???

Most people experience this, angels - one breast producing more than the other. It doesn't matter a bit :)

No one is symmetrical - feet slightly diff. sizes, for instance.

I had this with DS. I used to have competitions with my breast pump. RB (RightBoob) always produced more despite LB being slightly bigger. Hmm

oh goodie!!! Not broken then!!! It's possible it was like that with the others then and I'd just forgotten :) thankyou
