I'm on day 2 of block feeding to reduce my milk supply! My left breast is about to explode and I really don't know what to do! If I express a little, will that not send signals to make more?

Does anyone know how long this will take? I'm really concerned of getting mastitis! Ouch!!!

Expressing will make you make more. I don't know what block feeding is, but with both my dc's I made massively too much milk after they were born and had terrible engorgement.

I was told to lie in a hot as I could stand bath with my boobs submerged and lots of milk would just run off like rivers, apparently this is okay as it is removed without stimulation.

Gina- tiktok has responded on your other thread. Just hand express off the minimum to make yourself comfortable.

Hope things get better for you today. Smile
