Expressing help needed

I need one feed for dd at weekend - I want to go to a lunch - will feed her before I go. She will be 14 weeks and I will leave 200mls - is this enough.

The big problem is that I cav't get much out with my pump - mini medula. I just expressed 2oz from 1 breast whilst she fed from the other. Is there any way to get more?

Now I am worried there will be no milk for her in a couple of hours when she feeds again. I'm not sure this child free lunch is worth it. My friend is saying 1 bottle of formula won't hurt but for some reason i feel not keen.

200ml is approx 7oz! More than enough for a lunch (unless it's 100 miles away or your lunches end when the restaurant throws you out as they are closing for the evening.....)

General advice is to aim for around 1oz per hour gone (plus an extra 1oz per bottle) and plan to feed her before you go as well.

2oz is a good amount to express especially if you don't express daily so don't worry.

(I think that's ok, there are millions of posts with simlar qu's all over the place)

Usually your body can make milk pretty fast - the milk being removed signals to your body to make more. I think most people need milk from more than one session to make up one feed. Have you tried hand expressing after the pump to get a bit extra out?

Its up to you if your dd has formula, not your friend, I'm sure she is suggesting all this out of affection for you though.
