Having problems feeding lying down on my right side... can't think why?

DS is 2 weeks and a couple of days, we've been ebf and mostly co-sleeping, so doing a lot of feeding lying down. Left side is no problem at all, right side he fusses a lot, doesn't seem to latch properly, comes on and off, also spits more back up than usual which is annoying in our bed! He is not a sicky baby at all normally.

Normally I would feed to sleep but this never seems to happen on the right side and I end up having to sit up and feed him or if he seems to have had enough milk giving him his dummy to help him back to sleep.

Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going wrong?

Most women's breasts are not identical so it may just be slightly harder for him to get at one side due to different size, shape. We had this (sitting up also) and I started to get pain on one side as milk was not being drained properly. Bit of practice of getting him on really well (really wide gape etc). I also think he just needed to grow a bit to manage better.

When lying down, I found it helped to place him a bit away from you and then pull his body gentley towards you (place your hand and arm behind his shoulders and back) so his head drags slightly behind him - this will tilt him back and open up his jaw hopefully.
