He has 5oz bottle made up every 2 hours and most of the time it takes over half an hour to get it down him as he always seems hungry and I've tried leaving it longer between feeds so he'll take more but it still takes him about half an hour plus to have it. At about 8 weeks he was going 4 hours between feeds at night and over the last few nights is waking every 2 hours or so and then having about 3-4oz. During the day he'll have a few half hour naps and if we go out he'll sleep up to 3-4 by then I'll wake him if its after 4.30pm. Unlike his older brother at that age he'll not have a dummy to comfort suck on. Using Avent size 2. Bedtime 8-9pm then he'll wake 5-8am. Thanks

avent size 2 is the slow flow. You could try the size 3 medium flow which is from 3+ months

Thanks I will. I tried them a week or so ago and he gulped it down that fast I ended up wearing it! Will try again!

Forgot to add that he's already on Hungry Baby but thats obviously not doing anything!

Mentioned it to elderly neighbour before who said to put a bit of rusk in his milk. No thanks.

even going from 9pm - 5am is pretty fantastic at 12 weeks Envy

my 16week old (BF) Goes to bed at 7, and wakes 11ish 2.30ish and 5ish, then awake at 7.30

Sorry I meant 8pm to 9pm for bedtime and 5am to 8am for waking up time. a Few days ago he was sleeping 8.30pm to 5.30am and that was great even when he woke at 2.30am. I'm used to no sleep so it doesn't bother me its him and DH who are lacking in it as baby wont bloody sleep in the day unless in pram/sling, which I cant do all the time. I just wish he'd go a bit longer so he can get the sleep he needs and stop being grumpy all day.
